Heliatek shows organic molecules of small photovoltaic
Heliatek GmbH presents its translucent and flexible organic photovoltaic modules since yesterday in the seventh Plastic Electronics Conference and Exhibition in Dresden. In Hall 2, Booth 070, Heliatek provides its visitors the latest generation of photovoltaic technology: organic photovoltaics to small molecules. On display are both organic glass modules as well as film modules in different colors and different transparencies. Visitors have the opportunity to gain an initial impression of the many design possibilities of the latest generation of photovoltaics.
While previous modules lose with every degree of temperature rise in power output remains constant at the organic modules due to the efficiency of the zero-temperature coefficient. A clear advantage for very sunny regions. But also for northern countries, the modules are due to their above-average low light performance ideal - the module efficiency is up to an irradiance of 100 W / sqm fully retained.
The modules are produced from mid 2012 in roll-to-roll process, come at the cost films for use as a carrier material. Thus, the modules are flexible, unbreakable and with only 0.5 kg / m² and 190 Wp / kg extremely easy.
