Toyota will launched its smallest four-seat electric car
The 2012 Scion iQ electric version will be the first Toyota electric car in addition to the world’s smallest four-seat electric vehicle. The electric car prototype expected to reach 65 miles range with carrying a smaller battery so it can offers cheaper price too.
At this time,the 2012 Scion iQ electric version is undergoing testing in the European Union before its presented in the showroom next year. This the first time of pure electric car made by Toyota before the its famous of Prius hybrid as an initial step towards real electric car.
Although the current competition of electric cars are so tight, especially about the range of the of car and the 2012 Scion iQ range is still far from the others electric car manufacturers. But its offers a small and lightweight battery for a cheaper price.
Currently, the 2011 Scion iQ pint-size city car with 1.3 liter engine and Its 3+1 seating functional is being sold in Japan and the Europe . The car has achieved perfect range up to 65 mpg. Toyota will also provide another greater choice of its electric car version by planned to launch RAV4 electric version in the next year too.
